Cones of Fury is a new ensemble consisting of brass gurus Sam Pilafian, Tuba (of Empire Brass fame) and JD Shaw, French Horn (of Boston Brass fame). Playing brass instruments that aren’t usually known in virtuosic or solo circles, Pilafian and Shaw are exploring dynamic new repertoires from all genres including classical, jazz, latin styles.
