There are only two games in Las Vegas. One is the waiting game and one is the numbers game.
Both are now over at The Smith Center. The waiting game is over, because the waiting list is open for the 2016/2017 Broadway Las Vegas® Series. The numbers game is over because the choice of Broadway shows is in the hands of patrons who can choose nine, eight or seven-show series tickets. The seven-show package starts at $203. Seats are guaranteed if purchased by June 12, and guaranteed seats mean the same seats for every show.
The 2016/2017 Broadway Las Vegas® Series is an exciting mix of freshness and nostalgia, solid hits and groundbreaking musicals, and stories about songwriters and song moguls.
For nostalgia and excitement, there’s “The Sound of Music” (August 2-14, 2016); “Irving Berlin’s White Christmas” (November 22-27, 2016); “An American In Paris” (April 11-16, 2017); and “The Phantom of the Opera” (May 31-June 11, 2017).
For imagination there’s “Finding Neverland” (February 14-19, 2017) and “Matilda The Musical” (March 14-19, 2017).
For the sound of a generation, there’s “Motown The Musical,” (January 17-22, 2017), Barry Gordy’s story with more than 40 hits; and “Beautiful – The Carol King Musical,” (September 20-October 2, 2016) where audiences will feel the earth move.
In a category by itself, “Fun Home” (January 3-8, 2017) is the winner of five Tony Awards. It’s a landmark musical based on Alison Bechdel’s best-selling graphic memoir that introduces us to her at three different ages as she explores the mysteries of her childhood.
In addition to the exciting line up of shows, there are two new benefits for the 2016/2017 Broadway Las Vegas® Series. Ticket holders for the series and their guests are invited to BROADWAY TALKS, a behind the scenes, pre-show chat with producers, directors and cast members. It’s a rare opportunity for insight into Broadway productions and the people who make them successful. The second benefit is a guaranteed seat for next season’s Broadway smash, the hit new musical, “Hamilton.”
Great Broadway shows, guaranteed seating and pre-show chats with performing arts professionals are only available through season tickets. The waiting is over, but the time is short for picking the numbers!
