On the heels of releasing his acclaimed 2019 album saluting Nat King Cole — completing a trio of celebrated, Cole-themed albums — Grammy-nominated singer-guitarist John Pizzarelli now delivers his reimagined versions of Cole’s swinging melodies to live audiences nationwide. Returning to Myron’s Cabaret Jazz after his popular past performances, Pizzarelli will perform Cole’s many classic hits such as “Straighten Up and Fly Right,” “The Very Thought of You ” and “Route 66,” all backed by gifted artists on the double bass and piano.
Pizzarelli has built his career working with music icons, including opening for Frank Sinatra and collaborating with Paul McCartney. He has recorded over 20 solo albums and been featured as a special guest artist on recordings for pop megastars including James Taylor, Natalie Cole and Kristin Chenoweth.
