Clint Holmes and singer/pianist Billy Stritch will join forces for “Straighten Up and Fly Right,” a celebration of Nat “King” Cole!
Join these excellent entertainers in a celebration of the music and one hundred year legacy of the legendary Nat “King” Cole. The evening will include new takes on favorites like “Unforgettable,” “Route 66,” “Mona Lisa,” and some lesser-known gems. The show also features the Christian Tamburr Trio with Billy Stritch on piano.
A beloved regular in Las Vegas and New York, Clint Holmes has headlined across the US, including venues such as Café Carlyle. Celebrated for his smooth vocals and finesse on stage, Holmes delivers masterful interpretations of cherished standards and classic popular hits. He earned an Emmy for hosting his own variety show, and in 2018 Holmes received two GRAMMY® nominations for songs off his latest release, "Rendezvous," a star-studded jazz collective produced by Gregg Field.
Billy Stritch is one of the premier singer-pianists on the New York and national jazz and cabaret scene. Stritch has appeared in cabaret venues across the nation as well as concert performances at the London Palladium, NHK Hall in Tokyo and Rio de Janeiro’s Municipale Auditorium. Billy is also a songwriter and arranger, and his composition “Does He Love You” was recorded by Reba McEntire and Linda Davis. The single reached the number one spot on the Billboard Country chart, winning a Grammy® Award and selling over five million copies along the way. He has arranged for many top performers and is a frequent collaborator with Liza Minnelli. Billy has also played and sung on numerous television shows including “The Rosie O’Donnell Show,” “Oprah,” “The CBS Morning Show,” “The Today Show” and “Inside The Actor’s Studio”.
